Silk Road Samarkand is a newest tourist complex, that is located at the territory around the Republic of Uzbekistan rowing canal, and was opened to public in 2022. The name Silk Road was chosen for the complex as Samarkand was one of the most important stops of the Great Silk Road routes in the ancient times.
The complex includes eight hotels – official partners of Challenge Samarkand – a modern congress center, an expo center, and the unique “Eternal City” park. The hotels, built using advanced technologies, are located on both sides of the rowing canal.
