Silk Road Samarkand is a newest tourist complex, that is located at the territory around the Republic of Uzbekistan rowing canal, and was opened to public in 2022. The name Silk Road was chosen for the complex as Samarkand was one of the most important stops of the Great Silk Road routes in the ancient times.
The complex has 8 hotels, that are official partners of Challenge Samarkand, congress-center, expo-center and a unique park called Eternal City. The hotels that are built with using the newest technologies, are situated on both sides of the rowing canal, and can accommodate around 3000 guests.
Eternal City Park, that takes up 17 hectares of land, is created in the style of the authentic ancient buildings of Samarkand, where the guests can see various street performances, try national Uzbek cuisine dishes and buy a unique souvenir for oneself or loved ones.
Silk Road Samarkand is located in a 20-minute ride from the historical city center, 25-minute ride from the railway station and a 15-minute ride from International Airport of Samarkand.
The location and structure of the complex have become the perfect choice for holding Challenge Samarkand and other international and local sports events.
